My stay at Grand Halic Goldenhorn in Istanbul was a mixed bag. While I loved the stunning views of the Golden Horn and found the staff to be friendly and attentive, there were a few shortcomings that can't be ignored, particularly with cleanliness and the breakfast quality. The location was fantastic, making it easy to explore nearby attractions like Taksim Square and Galata Tower, but overall, I expected a bit more from a hotel with such a promising setting.
